"...In 1979, Kojo Kamau established Art for Community Expression (ACE), a non-profit venture to help African-American artists expose their work to mainstream audiences. ACE raised funds to enable black artists to travel to Africa and was one of the first galleries in the then "new" Short North arts district. The Fort Hayes exhibition includes over 100 works by ACE membership in a variety of media and aesthetic approaches..."
